Shape Cutting:

With our state-of-the-art laser cutting system, we can cut a backsplash or countertop to fit any area. Outlets, holes, sinks, and irregular shapes are no longer a problem. Laser cutting also allows us to cut shapes with edges that are burr-free, are dull to the touch, and free from heat marks, a common result of other cutting methods.

Materials:

Our stainless steel sheets with #4 (brushed) and #8 (mirrored) finishes are coated in a layer of PVC to protect the surface during handling, fabrication, and shipping. Just peel off once your product arrives, and you will have the perfect finish.

For kitchen countertops and backsplashes, we highly recommend using 16 gage material. This material is much thicker than most products offered elsewhere, and stands up to use/abuse much better. Products made from thinner gage materials will often dent/bend quite easily, ruining your investment. Why go through the work and expense, only to have it ruined in a short matter of time by an accident?

Finish:

Our #4 finish is a brushed finish, the look of most stainless steel appliances. The finish has a grain to it (much like a wood grain). Please be sure to specify which way you would like the grain to run. Our #8 finish is a mirrored finish, and is highly polished.

Both #4 and #8 finishes can be scratched easily, and can be quite difficult to reproduce if damaged. One solution is to purchase a mill finish (2B), and create your own finish using either a orbital sander or a Scotch-Brite © pad. Using the sander or pad, rub the surface in a circular motion (much like buffing the wax on your car), working your way across the surface. Creating your own finish in this way means that, if your kitchen countertop or backsplash is scratched, all you have to do is use the sander/pad to put a brand new finish on!

We can create a countertop to match any specification. To soften the edge, all corners can be welded and finished . Kitchen countertops can be made with or without front/back returns to match your unique situation.
